You've experienced it a hundred times. You're at the checkout of an electrical store and the sales person half-heartedly offers you an extended warranty. You're saying "no thanks" before they've finished.
Clearly it shouldn't be like that. Domestic & General is the UK's largest specialist provider of cover for electrical appliances. Their plans provide valuable protection against any eventuality - even if an elderly appliance simply wears out.
Our sales training DVD demonstrates to shop staff how to introduce repair protection to every sale. We've used real-world situations and a presenter with whom they can identify, so it's clear that this isn't just more of the same old "alternative close" material that we've all seen so many times.

There's lots of interactivity to keep interest levels high, and because it's all driven by our Configurative system, it's easy for Domestic & General to update and maintain for individual customers.

Configurative Allows Customisation Sitting behind the D&G DVD production, our Configurative system allows Domestic & General to customise the system to suit individual customers. Because this is a fully interactive system there's no facility for changing running order. Instead, it's possible to create custom modules with customer-specific information and then insert them anywhere in the system as icons that pop up where the information is relevant. As usual for a Configurative application, embedding a customer logo is a quick ,automated process, and an unlimited number of custom configurations can be saved and recalled at the click of a button |

Configurative Quizzes - Updated on demand The quizzes in the D&G sales training DVD are easily configured with new questions and answers. They've even been built to allow for remote updating via the Internet to be added later should Domestic & General opt for it. The video responses react intelligently to the user's input, and the end-of-quiz analysis reacts to the type of answers the user gave. |

Saving Location Costs The live actor sequences in the Domestic & General DVD were shot in our studio using our blue screen rig. This gives us maximum flexibility to make changes and updates because we don't need to return to the location. All of the background locations were shot in a single morning's filming on-site in an electrical showroom. No one has an unlimited budget, so it makes sense to keep costs under control. |
