The filmings done and it's all ready for editing, now comes the frustrating part.
There are plenty of production music companies, and they all have catalogues running to thousands of CDs. Somewhere in there is the exact music you're looking for.

How long have you got? Production music's great value, but you can easily soak up the savings by searching for the right piece. And then of course you'll have to edit around it, because it wasn't written to match your production.
So there's a lot to be said for composing something exactly for purpose. That doesn't limit you to electronica either. We're all frustrated rock musicians so live instrumentation is available too. Good grief, there's even a concert pianist on the strength.
That's not intended to belittle electronics though. The examples below use plenty of technology, if that's what pushes your buttons. They're some of Adam's compositions from his MySpace page.
We don't lock ourselves away in a studio arguing over the “direction we’re going in” and produce nothing for several months. We compose and output music quickly and with a minimum of fuss.
The final mix is available to you in any format you need and the rights to the music are handed over at the same time.
