Somewhere there must be an EC regulation that says that corporate videos must be boring.
It probably prescribes the voice-over to include: “From its base in <Insert Town>, <Insert Business Name> has, for more than <Number> years, led the field of <insert vague description of service> for innovation, quality and commitment to customer service”. It's probably something to do with a Health and Safety Directive.
Well until I find the regulation, I’m going to keep trying to break it.

Don't get me wrong here. There's a big difference between humour and frivolity. And bad attempts at humour are worse than deadpan boredom. But it is possible to be entertaining and remain informative.

There’s a full production service here at your call. From scripting through to shooting, directing, post-production and editing, it’s all ready to go, and able to pull the best result from your budget. We can even compose and perform the music.

Domestic & General Sales Training We've just finished the new version of Domestic & General's sales training DVD. We produced the previous version using existing video footage, but this one has been a complete clean-sheet approach. This is another application for our Configurative system, so there's outstanding flexibility for D&G as well as effective training for its customers. |

Multi-National Updates with Configurative Sunterra owns holiday properties in around 25 countries. The quality is superb, as is clear to anyone who stays in one of their luxury apartments. They asked us to build a presentation system that can be used by their sales decks around the world to show potential customers the superb holiday destinations they can offer. The system features over an hour of compelling full-screen video, plus voiced sections on management fees and points values. The Sunterra presentation was the first application to use Configurative's sales analysis system. Every salesman's presentation is captured and analysed. The data is automatically returned to head office during the update process. This makes it possible to analyse presentation paths against sales results, providing a picture of the ideal sales pitch. Configurative even controls the environment, dimming the lights for video sections, spotlighting the presenter, or raising the house lights for break-out sessions. It's all automatic, so the presenter can concentrate on presenting. |
