Why Should Corporate Mean Boring?

Let's break a few moulds

Somewhere there must be an EC regulation that says that corporate videos must be boring.

It probably prescribes the voice-over to include: “From its base in <Insert Town>, <Insert Business Name> has, for more than <Number> years, led the field of <insert vague description of service> for innovation, quality and commitment to customer service”.  It's probably something to do with a Health and Safety Directive.

Well until I find the regulation, I’m going to keep trying to break it.

What's wrong with a little humour?

Don't get me wrong here.  There's a big difference between humour and frivolity.  And bad attempts at humour are worse than deadpan boredom.  But it is possible to be entertaining and remain informative.
